“An ornate, multi-tiered Matte-Finish Jadai Billai (hair accessory) designed to decorate a traditional South Indian braid. The piece features a vibrant combination of Kemp stones (ruby red and emerald green) set in a rich antique gold finish. The three interconnected segments—a top floral/leaf cluster, a central round motif, and a bottom crescent/half-moon shape—are all densely studded with the colored stones. Each segment is adorned with clusters of small seed pearls/pendant drops (known as gundla) for a beautiful, cascading effect, culminating in a decorative jhumka bell at the very bottom.”
