Forming Vel Mayil Pendent – JCPT134

This is another variation of the Forming Vel Mayil Pendant, but with a distinct focus on shimmer and sacred geometry. While the previous one used vibrant enamel, this design (JCPT134) leans into a more “diamond-look” aesthetic.

Design & Symbolism

• The Om Vel: The centerpiece is a Vel that features an engraved “Om” symbol on the spearhead. This adds a layer of spiritual depth, combining the primordial sound of the universe with Lord Murugan’s weapon of wisdom.

• The Sparkling Mayil (Peacock): The peacock in this version is almost entirely encrusted with White AD (American Diamond) stones. This gives the pendant a radiant, high-shine finish that catches the light from every angle.

• Traditional Accents: * The peacock’s head is topped with a single pink ruby-colored stone, providing a classic focal point.

  • The peacock’s “plumage” drapes gracefully to one side of the Vel, creating a beautiful asymmetrical balance.

• The Shaft: The handle of the Vel is also studded with a row of sparkling white stones, ensuring the entire piece has a cohesive, premium feel.
